County Approves New Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park Adjacent to Orange Blossom

Orange Blossom Naples’ fitness center includes a children’s playroom with glass walls that allow residents to enjoy their workouts while monitoring their children’s activities.

Collier County has approved the development of the 150- acre Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park just east of the Collier County Fairgrounds and adjacent to The Ronto Group’s Orange Blossom Naples community in North Naples. The park will be developed in two phases with phase I expected to open in 2020. The project is expected to cost more than $60 million with about $31 million budgeted for phase I. Preliminary plans indicate the first phase will include sports fields and courts, walking trails, a playground, a community center, and a swimming pool. Phase I is also expected to feature a large lawn where movies will be presented, as well as an amphitheater and an aquatic facility. The approximately 48-acre Big Corkscrew Lake will be re-graded as part of the two-phase project. Plans call for an entrance to the park from within the Orange Blossom community.

Basketball courts, tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, bocce ball courts, picnic areas, playgrounds, and a fishing pier at one of Orange Blossom Naples’ lakes offer possibilities for outdoor fun.

The new park will contribute to the amenity-rich lifestyle enjoyed by residents of the gated resort-style Orange Blossom community on Oil Well Road. Continued commercial and retail development along Immokalee Road has made the community one of the most conveniently located in Collier County. Single-family homes, twin villas, and townhomes by Lennar Corporation and Pulte Homes priced from the $200’s, K-12 schools located within one mile of the community, and retail shopping venues, a Publix grocery store, restaurants and bars, a public golf course, and an array of on-property amenities provide an unprecedented value to working families and retirees intent on enjoying a resort lifestyle while residing at a Naples address. The beach and the shopping, dining, and entertainment attractions found along U.S. 41 are easily accessed via Immokalee Road.

Orange Blossom Naples has been designed to provide
opportunities for fun throughout the day. Two huge resort-style pools and a spa serve as the centerpiece of the community’s amenity offering.

No other gated community in Naples can offer the level of amenities and new residences from the $200’s price point available at Orange Blossom. Orange Blossom will include approximately 1,600 single-family residences and townhomes at build-out, more than 300 of which have already been sold. Fully developed home sites and furnished models by Lennar are available. New furnished models by Pulte are open for viewing.
